4/19/2011, 12:03 AM….9hrs from start and we are finally finished mixing. much love and thanx to @daRealNASTYNATE and @Whoismorris. we WENT IN! on a track for my project that is so good i want to dub it as one of the singles. But trust it ain’t start the way it ended. We came in with a beat and already pre wrote hook i did. Track was called “cant get enough”. We were ready to start recording after Nate bumped on of his favorite songs from YG and made a new beat in 35minutes…during those 35minutes Morris and i wrote a new hook and bridge. The topic we felt wit this one was a messege along the lines of ‘closed mouths dont get fed, nothing is too extreme’. A Lil bit more additions to the beat after hearing what we wrote and we start the recording process. Imma be honest y’all we were all amazed my Morris’s voice. after every recording we would just listen to his runs, harmonies, and range UNMIXED over and over (terrible). @youngocean stopped by and added his ridiculous writing skills to the record. All in All in turned out great…it reminds me of “she don’t even know me” by illustrious Few. Look out for “Just Ask” ft. Dame Luke, Nate Jetson, and Morris»»till next time

I’m learning the hard way with this project if i want it executed the way i want it to constant planning and decisions need to be made. I’ve figured out a direction and theme i want to deliver but cant just give music fans anything. now since we have a couple of tracks to work wit towards the project visual is now needed to compliment the project. videos, photo shoots, and marketing scenarios have been put in order. 1st meeting with a director tomorrow to see what assistance i can get with this project. (hopefully we can work out a great agreement to make this project even greater!) then as always gotta consult with @kyledashawn about photos and marketing….ppl this man is amazing at what he does. i recommend him if you have a project or got something coming up along those lines you want done the right way! next step after that???? more blogs to come…………
